If we start reacting to the fear of doing compulsions or the fear of reacting to feelings in some "wrong" way and messing up recovery, then we're already back into the compulsions! Trying to do OCD recovery "right" is an easy way to get back into perfectionism and chasing some clean way of doing things. Instead of trying to avoid the possibility of doing something wrong, I find it more useful to keep the focus on what we want to grow and build, and then look at the actions to do that well.
