British Model Pleads Her Fans to Stop This #skin

Sunbeds, often used for indoor tanning, expose the skin to high levels of ultraviolet (UV) radiation, significantly increasing the risk of skin cancer. UV radiation from sunbeds is often more intense than natural sunlight, making them a dangerous method of achieving a tan. Research has shown that using sunbeds, especially from a young age, can dramatically raise the likelihood of developing skin cancers, including melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer.

Intense UV Exposure: Sunbeds emit concentrated UVA and UVB rays, both of which damage skin cells and cause mutations that can lead to cancer. In fact, some sunbeds produce UV radiation levels up to 10-15 times stronger than the midday sun.
Cumulative Skin Damage: Each tanning session causes DNA damage to skin cells. Over time, this damage accumulates, increasing the risk of skin cancer, premature aging, and sunspots.
