2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse - Interior Revealed

Ford has revealed more details relating to the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse’s design. The new range-topper gets exclusive upgrades, An anodized blue titanium shift ball with the six-speed manual transmission. Go for the 10-speed auto and you get anodized silver paddle shifters. The most notable design element will certainly be the new color-shifting Blue Ember exterior paint color. The dark blue metallic paint shade is pearlescent and features deep blue pigments in addition to warmer amber hues that makes the finish appear to change depending on the lighting conditions.

In addition, buyers will be offered two special stripe options for the exterior. Available in vinyl and hand-painted forms, the accents are designed to enhance the performance-oriented exterior of the car. The black and blue theme from the exterior is continued in the interior. Bright Indigo Blue stitching is standard on instrument and door panels, seats, gear shift boot, and center console trim and lid. As we already know, the 2024 Mustang has a digital interior with a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster powered by the Unreal Engine 3D software. The 13.2-inch infotainment is also angled toward the driver to give a cockpit-like feel. The interior design team even went as far as designing all-new trim surface selections. Instead of the standard bright silver trim pieces, customers can opt for a new dark metallic gloss called Black Alley.

Ford evolved the grain patterns of the interior plastics, settling on a unique carbon fiber grain used on the instrument panel, door panels, and three-spoke steering wheel. All leather and vinyl surfaces come with a model-specific grain pattern to further enhance the experience, and Ford uses lasers to create a grain effect on top of the instrument panel to reduce glare. Also available inside is the Mustang Dark Horse Appearance Package, which adds Recaro performance seats that have Deep Indigo Blue bolsters trimmed with Bright Indigo Blue accent stitching, while blue seatbelts round out the look. The 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse is powered by a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 that makes 500 hp and 418 lb-ft of torque. Buyers will be able to start customizing their own model in the summer of 2023, when Ford finally puts it on sale.
