I hope I’m not the only one who is still in the Christmas Spirit! I wanted to capture a peaceful countryside Christmas this time! The holiday may have already passed but we can still enjoy the beauty of the season!
Take a ride to the quiet countryside where winter has brought a new layer of fresh fallen snow. The farmhouse is toasty and warm with the fireplace going and in the oven is a fresh loaf of Cinnamon Bread! The warm orange glow dances from the windows and your cat Frosty has gone outside to catch a couple of snowflakes on his nose! There is a small cabin next to the house that is used as a smokehouse and this evening you’ve started to dry a new batch of salmon! The smoke comes churning from the top of the roof with delicious smells of smoked salmon. Frosty licks her chops hoping for a piece! The Christmas Lights are still up in the bushes and around the house, but you’ve come to love the festive glow it brings so you leave them up just a little bit longer! A small fire is made outside by the wagon where some new baby pine trees will be planted in the forest. One of the sheep has ventured out of the barn for the evening and enjoys cooling herself in the new fallen snow. The bells from the old church can be heard in the distance along with a couple of horses that are coming in from the pasture. Enjoy 7 hours of soothing sounds of the winter season and the crackling fireplace to keep you toasty!
