This is my plea STOP using scent beads make you smell terrible. ⁠

Clean smells like nothing. Fake rain smells disgusting. ⁠
⁠
All scent beads are going to do is coat your clothes in ‘fragrance’ which is going to attract more dirt and bacteria which will make it even stinkier so you wash it with more scent beads to mask the problem which keeps making the problem worse and round and round we go. ⁠

So this is my thrift flip - turning thrifted curtains into a pool cover up! It’s one of the easiest projects I’ve tackled, and it worked! ⁠

I’m don’t really think it’s my style. Maybe for resort wear? But alas, poor Yorrick, at a resort, I am not. ⁠

But, it was fun to make, and it’s about the journey right? ⁠
⁠
So, if you see some lace cafe curtains in the thrift store, now you know, in under three hours (assuming you don’t need the first 20 for an intense washing) YOU TOO can make a beach cover up. Huzzah! ⁠
