Manipulating Relic Substats on Honkai Star Rail EP 13 (read description)

Today's Episode shows me going through multiple different formations before hitting the god roll line. This shows why I prefer going one substat level(+3 for HSR or +4 for Genshin) also. Just so I can predict the next substat upgrade. Bronya Is Happy With her relics, When I Get A 5star Speed Boot and 5star CRIT DMG belt for her she'll be even better.

-Know that what I’m trying to do is help players understand how to predict the next upgrade in the substats. You are not forcing a substat you want to be upgraded(that’s not possible). For example, Say you are in step formation and the next upgrade is predicted to move down a step from the 1st substat line to the 2nd substat line. If the current relic has a crappy substat on the second line, simply switch to another relic(don’t leave the relic upgrade/equip window) that has the desired stat you want (like crit rate or crit damage) on the 2nd line then level it up + 3 to upgrade that line.
