Alone In Mongolia

Mongolia is where I became a man.
The routine at this point during my hike across the country, was one ration pack at 6am, second ration pack 14 hours later, followed by 5 peanuts in the evening.
23 years old, covering a marathon a day through the Gobi Desert and Altai Mountains, pulling an 18st (120kg) trailer behind me, that held everything I needed to survive this 1,500 mile expedition, to become the first person to walk solo and unsupported across Mongolia.
I faced so many demons and this was only the beginning of that, my nightmare was becoming a reality and little did I know, only a couple of weeks after this, I’d be dancing with death.
