The verdict from UK businesses: Not necessarily.

SMEs, in particular, feel the budget didn’t go far enough to support them with two-thirds saying the measures fall short.

But it’s not just smaller firms. A majority of large businesses share the same sentiment, mirroring the reaction to the last Conservative budget in March 2024.
