Mommy, I'm Telling You a Story About the World of sky (【英語版】おかあさん、お空のセカイのはなしをしてあげる！胎内記憶ガールの日常)

This short video is a sample of the Prenatal Memory Comic book (Chapter 1) written by Ayaka Takeuchi.
I'm Yuko Igarashi and I am an International Coordinator for the Prenatal Memory Education Association.
And this is a story of how I translated "Mommy, I'm Telling You a Story About the World" into English.

In 2018, Ayaka posted a scribbled comic on her Facebook simply to share an amazing story that she heard from her daughter.
She originally posted her comics limited to her friends, but with high demand that she decided and open to the public.
That is when one of my friends shared Ayaka's post and it immediately caught my attention.
I immediately contacted Ayaka and asked if is interested to translate her work.

Since I met a remarkable Prenatal Memory researcher, Dr. Akira Ikegawa in 2017, I thought combining Prenatal Memory and Art will create profound effects.
When I asked Ayaka, she allowed me to not only translate but also to recreate a new drawing to match the bubble to write texts horizontally.

She started posting her comic written in Japanese on her Instagram account in October 2019
Her follower is steadily increasing and as of December 7th, 2020, there are 11.7k followers on her account!
It is truly amazing...

Her comic book has been published in July 2020, and it has been sold really well in Japan.
