October 01, 2024 - Skeetes Bay & Culpepper Island with J (Barbados 4k)

Are you ready to explore? Do you have your 4x4's (hikers)? Here is another reason why we love our island of Barbados.

This video showcases two stunning attractions that make-up this stunning coastline in St. Philip.

It has been many years, actually since 2015, since we have seen a clean, sandy beach at Skeetes Bay. Although we saw sand last year as the sargassum was not as bad as the years prior, however it was terribly discolored from the continuous weed at that time. So seeing it in this beautiful condition, was a true pleasure.

We also share with you, the easiest of three routes that take you to Culpepper Island. Over time it has become more and more difficult, to see this land mass, that sits about 100 feet from our mainland. Therefore, we thought that showing you how to get there, will encourage Bajans and visitors to go and see this for themselves.
