The Defender is known as a British Icon from starting life in the 1940s to post-war Britain and now in the present day JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) have modernised the new defender.

This 3.L diesel S model trim gives 500Nm Torque and its automatic gearbox is a pleasure to drive. This 3/door caribe dubbed the 90 gives a nod to the past with 90 representing the wheelbase in inches which is how the old defenders were named.

Interestingly the defender still is plagued with the history of poor reliability issues. Can this sub 60k 4x4 off road we really be worth it?
