A Mural to Celebrate 50 Years of Music 🎵

2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the Mary Duke Biddle Music Building. To celebrate the historic milestone, there's a stunning new mural in the rotunda honoring the legacy of Mary Duke Biddle and music greats like Mary Lou Williams. Experience the vibrant tribute to their musical impact—hit play and be inspired! ✨🎵

This video features music from "History" by Mary Lou Williams, which was a recently discovered unfinished composition completed by Duke Music Professor Anthony Kelley.

The mural was designed and painted by Natalie Robinson, a muralist from Greensboro, North Carolina.
