Renobug - Finally mounting the 59 Renault body! But there are problems...

More progress on the Renobug! After many months, we finally try to fit the 1959 Renault body on the shortened customized VW Beetle floor pan.
But we run into problems! The newly mounted, rebuilt Beetle engine requires more space than we anticipated and the body wont fit...

After considering our options, we have no choice but to take off the Renault body again to cut and remove parts to provide clearance. We hoist it back into place one more time and finally get it to fit properly. Then we realize the suspension needs adjustment and we have to take it off once again to sort that out...
With no reference marks on the rear suspension swing plates for adjusting toe out and wheelbase geometry, we also end up doing some interesting measurements and adjustments.
