The U.S. Department of Education is expected to make major cuts to its workforce. House Education Committee member Rep. Mark Harris, R-N.C., believes there's a "desperate need" for the agency to be restructured. Harris says that since the COVID-19 pandemic, children have fallen behind on test scores and adds that education funds should be going back to the states.
