The term “fearmongering” is thrown around a lot lately in the nutrition space. Sometimes it is used by the media to captivate attention, sometimes by the food industry to deter a critical eye, and sometimes even by colleagues to support their beliefs.
No matter which angle you are looking at it from, fear mongering is a distraction that takes us further away from finding the truth.
