Valentine’s is my favorite holiday—I love it the way people love Christmas. So when I couldn’t bring myself to take down my tree, I decided to repurpose it instead!

I used vintage ornaments, DIY salt dough conversation hearts, and old ribbon to create a Valentine’s tree. Over the top? Absolutely. But it’s bringing me joy, getting me through winter, and I didn’t buy anything new for it.

Sustainable living isn’t about taking away joy—it’s about creating it.
