The All India Muslim Personal Law Board, the apex body of Muslim clerics in India, is organising a protest against the Waqf (Amendment) Bill at Jantar Mantar in the national capital today, March 17. The board said that the proposed legislation was a "direct attack" on Muslims and would pave the way for the "usurping" of Waqf properties.
