Concept of Brahman: Ultimate Reality in Hindu Cosmology

The first idea in the cosmology of Hindu Dharma is the concept of Brahman. Brahman is the ultimate reality. It's the only real entity here that stands apart from time. It transcends birth and death, time itself, the past, present, and future. Brahman is consciousness, is intelligence. All knowledge, the primordial seed of all creation manifestation. Brahman is also the cosmos, the universe itself. All things manifest and unmanifest to human beings. All objects here, all objectifiable entities that emerge from Brahman, all that is here, including the material universe. Brahman alone is wholly imminent and wholly transcendent at the same time.
