Hope Boykin Inspires the Next Generation of Dancers

Retired Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater dancer and Durham native Hope Boykin returned to Durham for the hometown premiere of her work "States Of Hope" at Duke University as part of the Duke Arts Presents 2024-25 Season. During her time at Duke, Hope inspired the next generation of dancers through workshops with Duke students and high school students at Durham School of the Arts.
