DTC800 has better resolution than Onix Alpha, and its bass dive is also better than Onix Alpha, and its sound field is also larger than Onix Alpha, but Onix Alpha has a very distinctive sound, very much like a desktop, and the sound is very full. I personally think Onix Alpha is suitable for vocals.

I'm getting ready to buy HD6XXs and wanted to get a simple DAC & AMP as well. I was considering the DTC800 and ONIX ALPHA, but I think I want to settle with the DTC800 because I'd rather not stray too far from a neutral sound (to the warmer ONIX), do you think that's a good choice for me? I ordered the Dunu DTC 800 from Amazon (Hifigo store)but haven’t received it yet, could be lost in the mail. I would have liked to ordered the Onix, but sounds as if it might take a while to get. Amazon has better coverage on returns, but may never get the Onix. Who knows.😢

Good afternoon, I am planning to buy this DAC, its specifications state that it is 32 ohms, please tell me how it will work with the full-size Beyerdinamic dt900pro if they have 48 ohms, will they be compatible?
