Great video and content. I'd have to disagree with you on the shifter. I just got my 2023 Supra premium with the Manual transmission. Is it possible you got a preproduction model with an early shifter. It's now April 2023 and I have waited 7 months for my Supra. I thought the shifter on my Supra was very precise with short throws. It's very notchy and shifts very smoothly. It reminded me of the shifter on my 2009 Honda S2000 CR. Only the Honda CR had just a tad shorter throws. I like the display on the gauges telling you exactly which gear you are in. I know it sounds a little silly but sometimes we all have missed a shift only to find the wrong gear. The clutch is very soft and smooth and can easily be used as a daily driver. This was a nice surprise having such a soft clutch given the amount of power the engine makes. The take up is low down the way I like it. This Supra is one of the very best cars I have ever driven and I've owned more than 50 cars in my lifetime.

well, A80 supra was a Getrag transmission, which later was bought up by ZF, so not much of a difference there.

The Drive once said the code for the gearbox is GS6L50TZ, I also check today's press release and Toyota updated spec sheet on the website, it didnt provide any info on gearing yet. just wondering if you got the info from toyota officially ?
