Everything New Jeans speak out about is more in favour of MIn Hee Jin than it is for themselves. If these girls are being mistreated then speak out about it instead of making it about MHJ. But they concluded with demanding MHJ is given back her position is not a good look for them. Hybe also has every right to dismiss MHJ from her ceo position because of EVIDENCE aginst her so it seems their mistreatment is being used to give MHJ her power and position back

The name New Jeans and their music catalogue belongs to HYBE. Anyone picking the name and the group up will have a huge debt to pay. They can move on independently with Min Hee Jin. But they’ll have to pay a huge debt and rename and rebrand completely.

It's not about being brave, it's about being stupid. There are legal ways to go about it, but slandering a big corporation publicly is just naive. And to drag the underage member into it is ridiculous. There is no way a company would bow down to a few little girls. It would set a dangerous precedent. As a female businesswoman, this was an incredibly unprofessional way to go about it.

They are old enough to know what they are doing and freely decide to do or not to do. And why are some people talking about Min Hee Jin firing like a mistreatment instead of a normal consequence for a failed underhanded take over?

Hybe allowed MHJ to run everything and supported her, and she screwed them over. How is that Hybe’s fault? She proved her way is problematic, and it allowed her to be a criminal in the end. They won’t give anyone that kind of freedom anymore. She is the reason they had to give her role to an HR professional to fix it. Now that things are being done by the same rules all the other labels have to follow, the group doesn’t like it. If you look at things logically, in this case, you can’t blame Hybe. It’s also very insulting to the other groups to announce that your group is better than they are and deserve to run the show and then ask to be cordially greeted in the halls after your leader bullied the other groups. Come on.

They can have a preference for who they work with and not be happy that someone they care about was fired, but, as an employee, essentially demanding your choice of CEO is insane. That is NOT their decision. They're an employee with a contract. And I doubt their contract has a stipulation about who can be CEO of their company. People I like have been fired from companies I've worked at. But I'm not about to demand my company keep them on. That's ridiculous. If they're being snubbed, that sucks, but maybe the staff on other teams are worried about their artists getting caught up in the drama. And we only have the girls' statements as proof. A lot of what mhj has stated has turned out to be false. If the girls are sticking with her, how do we know they aren't capable of speaking falsehoods as well?

BTS have undergone hardships as well even within their 10yr career...not only ignored, maybe bullied within the music entertainment industries as well. Even to this very day, globally. Life is harsh n unfair. That is just reality. It's a "dog eat dog society". But to give them light how different BTS thinks (even during their younger yrs before) vs. New Jeans...BTS never did a livestream to complain or raise their issues. They did not allow their emotions to speak for them. But they used their emotions to write good songs and channeled it in a better and acceptable way. They thought of things objectively. They waited for the right time for truth to come out. This is how authentic each BTS member are as a person. They know how to choose their battles. Totally the whole opposite of what NJ did. With their actions, if they wont survive in the future...no one is to be blame but themselves and MHJ.

That's why lawyer up, cancel the contract, pay up and move on. David do you really think that those endorsements just came from Solely because they are popular? Do you think it's not coincidental that their global ambassador brands are parallel to BTS? Celine, Dior, Chanel etc. Most of these brands have good relationships with HYBE.

By blurring the lines between professional and personal relationships with these young teens for years, Min Heejin has cemented the fact that Newjeans=MHJ and MHJ=Newjeans. HYBE is at fault for not having more protections and checks and balances to prevent this kind of unhealthy relationship from forming. The parents of the girls also failed to put boundaries on this relationship and possibly even actively encouraged it (from the statements they have put out). Newjeans were failed by all adults around them. MHJ was able to exploit this fact.

Oh, honey, I'm only 28 minutes into this & I can't believe you're falling for that hostage video NJ posted. They may have begun as victims of MHJ, but 4 of the 5 are adults now & they just tried to blackmail their company. They're even dressed like her in the video. I guess she really has raised them like her own children! I hope they get the help they need to break out of this Stokholm Syndrome hold she has over them. As far as HYBE not responding - of course they're not going to. Their incredibly thorough law team is probably very busy investigating and drawing up some paperwork and advising them how to move forward.

If they go somewhere else, they won't be happy. No company is perfect and they will still have problems. Biggest issue, "co-worker wasn't nice to me", doesn't seem like an issue.

Isn’t this situation an example of burning your bridges? In all my work history I could never consider giving my boss an ultimatum/threat no matter how bad it was. Does the world revolve around you? Collect your money and buy out your contracts and then you can search out MHJ or go sign somewhere else. If you believe that BTS will never return and that HYBE will not recover from this, then don’t buy HYBE stocks which are at bargain prices right now.

There are too many accusations on Min hee jin and sadly, New Jeans are collateral damage. I think they do not fully understand what she has done. That woman is out for self and gave them a false sense of security. This is all very sad.

I watched another Korean explaining the New Jeans video. He said the tone and how they call the new CEO was pure disrespect, especially coming from the mouth of a 16 years old. Anything to add, David?

Dont know will David read this, but... did these young women just try blackmail Hybe, in net - live? "If you dont do what we want, we will do something what hurt you?" Did they understand what that mean?Coz I think that will be really bad thing to these women (if they really said that?)...
