@RADIOBUNKER73

A great antenna ! I was happy to be able test it for some weeks amazing results. NIce video

@BBaldwin

β€œWanted to make sure it was still erected when I woke up in the morning- and yes, I do mean the antenna.β€πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

@russbrown194

I got this one early on and is one of my favorite POTA antennas. Quick to deploy as well. One note, make sure you guy it or put weights on the base. Ask me how I know. Let's just say I had to get some new whips!

@digitalmediafan

Great review. This is similar to what Raisa R1BIG tried a few weeks back. Unfortunately although the telescopic mast is only $58 shipping to the UK is a whopping $60 so $118 total

@fretlessfender

Wonderfull as allway!

Nice product this is! Smart thinking of those markers, so simple to do but really helpful!

@johnmayer158

Just a thought...Depending on the size and threads, it might be possible to use hamstick antennas in place of the telescopic elements to go to 40m and perhaps 75/80m. Just an idea for portable pota/soda, or emergency comms.
Good luck,
John, N8SGM.

@pvdk

Mat, I think 4 meters and 2 meters is also possible as the collapsed whips are short enough ;-) Great piece of portable kit with superb resulst as you showed. 73 Phil ON4VP.

@andy2E0JIU

Nice video matt,think id use loading coils for 40m or the antenna starts to get a bit big for pota

@BillyNoMates1974

thereΒ΄s a good reason thats portable, my neighbours would have a fit with that up in my garden lol

@sudhakaryg

Great video Matt. Thank you very much for sharing the details. I have a question. I didn't see any loading coil or impedance matching balun connected to the antenna.
Is that the right way to go with these type of telescopic antennas without out loading coils / baluns.
Thanks in advance.

@robmcfaddin768

Excellent Video. Well done

@johnnorth9355

Oh dear - I can hear my wife and neighbours right now lol. I would have to use this portable only lol.

@olafelsberry420

TechMinds thank you mate for helping me understand so much about technically. I wonder if this will work on my ATS 25 X2? From across the pond 73 for now.

@Scif64

Nice Video Matt. I do like that mast and the ease of use of the antenna for portable use. I am moving from UK to Italy in September and looking at portable options on the top of my apartments flat roof. Another idea noted thanks to you. 73 de G0LQP

@peterdobson1166

Hi. Nice video. Which Tripod is it?

@bitemykrank1970

Nice video. Just the facts, no bullshit. I like the antenna, with your VNA or a good SWR meter and some knowledge, you could tinker and most likely get it down to 1:1 on every band, with some annoyance I'll admit, but if your not prepared to field tune an antenna, then your not really into portable op's.....wires tossed up into tree's are an exception to this....

@redeyegooner

Another really helpful review ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Any chance you could take a look at the MagicalANT 3.5-30mhz butterfly antenna please?

@TheTdub

Take one of the 40m wires cut a wire to same length, then cut that wire in half. Affix one of each half to the collapsible whips when using the 20m set-up to get your 40m

@joseneves2822

Very nice antenna, It's my favorite for POTA activations
With the inverted V configuration at 40 meters we can achieve contacts even without propagation
Thanks for the review
