Great video, but I’m being "portrait photographer picky". Where’s the 5 x 4 image area profile in the Z9 and this new Z8? As a professional I would like to reduce my post production workflow. Is this a software / firmware thing or a hardware thing? The DSLR pro bodies didn’t have this issue… Why irritate us this way now?

Is this camera waterproof? In the video you advertise it flooded with rain at 0.24 minutes, but the truth is different. In the description you write: 2 The camera's resistance to dust and splashes is not guaranteed in all situations and under all conditions. So what is the truth, because my camera was flooded after the rain and Nikon Service replaced all the electronics in my Z8 and I am writing that faults may still occur. I have already spent almost half of the value of a new one on repairs and I still don't know when it will break down again. The Nikon Z8 is a waste of money, it would have been better to add the Z9 to this big box.

So I've pre-ordered but sadly Nikon no longer values "professionals" - they used to give priority delivery on new releases to members of NPS - now they don't even have an email for NPS and when you call you basically get the receptionist. They've forgotten their roots - they used to be the "professionals choice" but started to lose that when digiatal came along and progressively deteriorated until now all that matters is sales. Basically "gimme your cash!" Sad.... Even with a Youtube channel of 2.5k dedicated Nikon enthusiasts and being a top quality wedding photographer gets you nothing - not even a promised email let alone a Z8 ahead of George who'll open the box, gaze at this beautiful camera then spend the next year taking 100 shots of his cat. Sorry - Rant over!

Just need a solid portrait camera without cinematic frills. Not all of us are James Cameron or George Lucas. My GoPro is quite adequate for videos. Too much complexity at an over the top price level.
