“Insane” is about Alastor’s arrival in hell 😈🔥
Our new song “Daisies” is about how he got there… 🌼🪓

God, this song embodies Alastor's character so well. Someone who's so manically energetic and caught up in his own showmanship that he bulldozes over everyone, only acknowledging them for how much their pain can entertain him. And just when a glimpse of humanity emerges, it's swallowed up by the act again so you're never sure if it's genuine or not.

@Mattriix

When the Radio Demon himself literally pulls off a "If you want a theme song done right, you gotta do it yourself"

@Icemirror319

The idea that when Alastor manifested he went on a musical killing spree and broadcast it all over hell is just amazing.

@Zappa_boi

THE EMOTE IS FINALLY BACK!

@DavidGarcia-sh3ex

Angle Dust : gets his own song and music video

Alastor: “hold my jambalaya”

@Ethan-og7tt

I like the idea of someone like Alastor getting sent to hell, quickly grasping what's happened and seeing the possibilities and opportunities. He embraces it and that is probably why he becomes so powerful, for someone like him getting sent to hell and becoming a demon is not damnation, its a promotion.

@jacobfaircloth7328

The fact BG is Alastor's singing voice makes this even better.

Edit: Make that "was"

@DanteMink

Came here thanks to Peter Barber's analysis (you can find it typing "Opera Singer STUNNED by "Insane" Hazbin Hotel | REACTION & ANALYSIS | Black Gryph0n & Baasik"), and let me tell you this is a real BANGER!!

@beakerrtc

It's crazy how Vaggie literally said he became an overlord OVERNIGHT. Probably one of the smartest "antagonists" I've ever seen (even though I'm not sure if he'll be the antagonist, Google says he's a major protagonist but I think it's just because he helps run the hotel)

@suppaphoenix1539

Honestly the scary part is that how fats Al accepts that he’s in Hell, and the fact that he’s already trying to cause mischief and disaster, but this song defiantly fits his character, excellent job Black Gryph0n

@pretzelcoati9590

The thing about Alastor that is truly terrifying, is that he is not insane. Insanity is when you don't know what's happening to and around you, but Alastor knows everything that he's doing, and enjoys it.

@havlifare

The song is so beautiful that I can't stop listening to it.

@toastlord5032

The reason I like Alastor so much is that he’s got all this power but uses it smartly instead of killing everybody and toppling hell’s greatest rulers. What a gentleman

@kelseytrapp9974

Show of hands who wants to see this animated like Addict ✋🏻

@xxsunflxwerxx1107

I’m just saying “the things I did up there was high school but now I’m going for my degree” is a beautiful line.

Absolute cinema

@Xanman22512

Living Tombstone: "Yeah, we've got Alastor figured out. A bit of swing and an edgy chorus, right?"
Alastor: "Oh ho ho ho ho ho... You're going to need more than that."

@thatonecrimsonecho

Fun fact: I once fell asleep to a Spotify playlist of mine, and this came on in the “Radio Based on Playlist.” I never once heard it but my dream somehow subconsciously knew this was Alastor and gave me a nightmare about him. Fun.

@thenerdmaster9381

Everything is right in this song. Made by the ACTUAL singing voice of Alastor (who is also a fantastic singer, love your stuff Gabriel), the lyrics flow well, and the music fits Alastor's theme perfectly. Basically, an absolute BOP
