Can’t even get through the first chorus without bawling. Lost my grandmother about a year ago very suddenly and we watched her deteriorate in front of us in a hospital bed over the course of a week. I still obsess over keeping every photo, every voicemail. Cause it can never be replaced. And now I have to watch my young kids slowly forget her. When they were her world.
