thought Darryl did a decent job.....obviously its impossible for any mere mortal to follow Mr harris, but lets give the man a chance, its refreshing to see a normal car buff give his thoughts etc.
Beautiful car. Thanks Darryl.
Great car...and I think he nails it. The old S and RS cars were still "very fast" daily-driver capable cars. Now, as cars get more and more extreme, you're quickly losing the every-day-driver appeal. You don't need/want 19-22" wheels and hugely expensive tires and 20mm of ground clearance or 700+ horsepower in a car you're going to use every single day in all weather for all reasons. It's one of the reasons the original GTI was such a hit. An attractive, quick, useful car which was fun to drive. Now it's more expensive, heavier, and loaded with more tech/weight/power than it needs, etc.
If Chris Harris and co are doing other content and CC are doing new content then its a win, cars a beaut and Darryl is a good guy !! #notrollsrequired
The 1995 Audi RS2 looks very nice.
Why was the Collecting Addicts Podcast ended without notice? It's fair enough ending it, but it would have been a common courtesy to let subscribers know. Some simple communication, manners, respect and courtesy goes a long way in this world.
I remember these when they were launched. Still gorgeous to this day.
Wonderful sound. These cars always fascinated me.
That sounds absolutely magic. π
Good job and lovely RS.
This set the bar for other manufacturer's to follow.
Change is the constant in life but I do miss Chris Harris doing these videos. Ah well. Life moves onβ¦
No-one in their right mind is going to daily an RS2! It's too valuable. The awesome sound is moreso the straight 5 rather than 'the turbo'. Audi back then were making quality cars. They were also minnows compared with BMW and Mercedes, looking to build their reputation with engineering integrity. They succeeded.
Sold mine, M799 SAB back in 2004....still miss it, must admit. That howl and Q-car looks is a lovely combination. Ride was very firm, though.
Good presenter π
Feel bad for all the hate. Clearly, he's wrong because everyone needs an M3 touring, but it's a cool car and a cool video.
Well, that was brief. Expected a bit more in depth tbh. Could have made this a Short.
Oh my the sounds r perfect
Last year saw one in South Africa Pretoria never seen it again π’π’π’
