My friends mom paints beautiful works of art. What she does for friends and family is recreate your favourite picture of a love one or pet that has past away. Best part is if you have the ashes of your dearly departed and you’re ok with it, she will mix the smallest amount of them into the paint she is using to recreate your specific painting. That’s wild, she literally takes a photo and a dime bag of dust and brings who you’ve lost back to life on a canvas just for you.

My husband got a whole box for his dad's ashes. It was so weird watching him split it for all the rest of his family members. And he was the only one strong enough to even do it. Everyone else was willing to let his dad just sit in a cardboard box because they couldn't get comfortable with opening it. 😅

My sisters have some of my moms ashes in a tiny urn that they wear around their necks. Whenever I see them and notice them wearing it I say "hey Mom... hows it hanging?" to their urns . Get it... cause she is hanging out in an urn on a necklace? My sisters don't think its funny. My Mom would though... and thats all that matters.
