I am 45 years old but I love this music
When I woke up in the hospital in Veitnam in late June of 1971, this was playing on the radio. A beautiful young nurse was walking by and said, " I've always loved Lodi." For 52 years, I have always wondered what happened to her. My wife and I were married 50 years on November 11, 2022. I have been permanently disabled with a tbi the whole time.
I lived in Lodi for some years l. It's a good place!
I'm 21 listening to this. Thank you to the old-timers for such great music. This song's lyrics feel like they say, "I'm just trying my hardest." So far, that's been the story of my young adulthood.
Via, via indietro in quel meraviglioso tempo in cui ascoltavamo musica Indimenticabile
I was listening to a Saturday radio show that plays oldies music. Before this song was played, the announcer said John wrote this song because their parents went to Lodi every year for 2 weeks' vacation and John and Tom hated the place because there was nothing to do there for the entire 2 weeks. That sounds reasonable if you really listen to the words.
Lodi, know the area well. ❤
My sister was killed by a south shore train in Hammond Indiana ❤️ She LOVED this Song. She was 18 years old.
Here I am January 9, 2025. My wife and I visit Lodi every year. We belong to a couple of the wineries in Lodi and we absolutely love downtown. We spend two full days there. Sadly, the bed and breakfast we loved has closed so we have to find a new place. Every time we roll into town I put on the song. This song. My wife does not like it, but she loves me so she tolerates it. Lodi is a place to go now. If you don’t know about Lodi, you should visit it’s an amazing town.
I am 75, being a fan of CCR's since the 1960's, their music never gets old, sadly I have!
Am 71 years old. Listen to CCR for rest of my life. Not crummy songs out today
Lodi Lodi ❤🎉
I'm 65 years old - and I love this song/ love CCR/ Fogerty, forever and a day.........😁
One of the best songs ever written. Thanks Mr. Fogerty.
I'm stuck in Lodi NJ again... 😩
I wish all of you could have enjoyed Creedence in the late 60's and early 70's like I did. Every new song was magic. I first found them in 1969, Bad Moon Rising. OMG music was never he same after that. In my opinion, the late sixties and early seventies were the best years for rock n roll.
Never heard this song. My grandma lived there for 40 years. She just passed away this year. Watching the grapevines in the video. I can smell them now. When we we're little we'd go to her house for summer. Hated it...hot, no air conditioner no friends. At that time, we were stuck in Lodi again.
This is a GREAT song. Not like the JUNK today. Long live CCR.
I was raised in Lodi I love my hometown. Infact I moved to San Diego. Now I’m moving back to Lodi. My beloved town
