Hey Jeremy this is great as usual. I was just wondering if you’re going to make the ENARSI course after the encor?

@TideTested

I passed my CCNA July 29, 2023 thanks to your videos and the Boson Exams. Question - Should I go straight into studying the ENCOR? I don't want to lose what I've learned from the CCNA while waiting on a job.

@osematouati2430

I played with this lab a little bit, I tried changing the cost in the Root port of SW2, I noticed that some TCNs are thrown and the other switches (SW4 and SW5) started pretending to be the RB for a short period of time. so i have this theory: Changing cost on the Root port of SW2 maybe reduces the TTL of BPDUs on SW4 and SW5 to 0 immediately, thus the two started pretending to be RB before receiving another BPDU originating from SW1 after 1 hello timer.

great explanation Mr.Jeremy
Question what if we in real work make hello-timer 1 and forward-time 4? does here has any negative results

@osematouati2430

Hi Jeremy, thanks a lot.

@noobstaah9048

At 4:40, its said that "because SW4 Bridge ID is lower than SW1, SW4 BPDUs are inferior to SW1". This is incorrect as SW4 BID is higher than SW1 (which makes it BPDUs inferior to SW1s BPDUs), which is also shown in video at 5:35. IF SW4 BID was lower than SW1 BID, then SW1 wouldnt have become root bridge in the first place.
