I grew up in a family that played instruments and sang country and blue grass music. Oh, and some rock too. Some talented folks. Though i appreciated that sound and nostalgia i was more into drugs and chasing girls rather than embracing my family tradition. After a third divorce i started listening to this new wave country, i think its called progressive country. Damn did i miss out over the years. I discovered this treasure later in life but at least it didnt slip away. Ive began to learn guitar and i often think of my long lost kin folk that carried their😢😢 wisdom to the grave with them. I play pretty good actually. A natural talent handed down by a blood line of yester year. I hope my loved ones can hear me now. I hope they are proud of me. As i was secretly so very proud of them. May God forgive me for not joining my beloved family in our God given talent. I miss them so. And i miss not joining in on the family get togethers. Singing and playing waaay into the night and early morning.

I don't know how it's even possible, but country music can make me kinda nostalgic for a world I've never been and never seen. It calms down and gives a feeling of infinity of time as if our life is not so short at all. It gives me meaning and desire to keep living through this difficult time

Great Country Playlist! I like all types of great music. Trying to get over a rough divorce and loosing the love of my life, a lot of songs remind me that I'm not the only one with a broken heart and others make me want to get off my ass and take some new ones for a test drive. She's a Christian Rap artist and we shared in our love for music. Next month she'll turn 28 and I'll be 69, maybe I'll find someone a little more mature that will appreciate a man that gives himself completely in a relationship. There's always sunny days when the storm passes! I hope everyone out there is enjoying this playlist as much as I am. I pray that your lives be filled with love, joy and many blessings. When I'm really low I just play an old country song backwards and watch the guy get his dog, truck and girl back, LOL!

Chris I just love your voice, I am a 65 year old woman. The first song of yours I heard, which don’t the name of but it was you can’t stay, she finished her wine and stayed over. I made me sad but I have loved everyone of your songs since. I search for them even though I suck at it. But also my nephew and his wife saw you in concert and were really impressed with how you showed your wife love during. I love that, you are too young to be my son, but I would be so proud if you were!!!!!

I’ve never felt as relaxed and peaceful as when listening to country music. Every tune tells a story, and I love everything it brings.

I'm leaving this comment here so after a month or a year when someone likes it, l get reminded of this song.

Country music touches my heart like the man that God has allowed me to cross paths with. I find solice here as I do at the thought of him. He's touching me without having touched me. His presence moves my soul divenly. The thought of us never moving from a professional relationship moves my spirit to sadness. Feels as though I've known him in another lifetime, and our souls have collided once again.

I wasn't looking, my heart was closed, and I definitely have never thought about or had any attraction to a white man. We are culturally so different but he brings out the best in me, his kindness matches my kindness and I think of him all the time but each time our paths cross I work hard to not let my love show. How can you love someone you've never dated?

Music allows me to feel openly what I'm suppressing inside.
