"My foot was the last to leave the wall, it's not going to pop next time" was a really insightful piece of advice. It's been long since I last watched Kyra climb, I liked this collab a lot. The way she explains her climbs is extremely articulate; I'd like her commenting some World Cup final, she would do as good a job as Shauna or Staša.
It's so cool seeing how your climbing has changed over the years. Even the small things like full crimping less often. Another cracking video!
Kyra is so inspirational! I didn't realize that her spine was fused. Amazing how she's still able to be such a crusher, and that she has such a positive attitude towards it all.
It's cool to see you trying out more places and talking to more of the pro climbers! It's funny how recognizable BP is! My local main gym is also BP (and also has a reputation for setting compy). And yeah, sometimes there are routes in the intermediate to advanced range that feel weirdly impossible.
visually the shot from 9:48 on might be my new favourite of yours, you both look powerful as hell
So excited to watch this! BP SLC is my favorite gym to climb at locally, it's awesome that you got to come climb here with Kyra!
Great to see the Bouldering Project on one of your videos. Seattle's BPs are my home gyms.
I think you have some of the most genuine climbing videos out there! I love how we’re able to just watch you all through the session. It’s something really special🫶🏽
Kyra is inspirational, and just has the coolest energy. I am so glad you got to climb with her Hannah!
Very inspiring, especially hearing Kyra's history of having had scoliosis. I love her advice on assuming that you're going to get the hold and getting ready to grip.
Ugh I miss SLC BP so much! I walked by you sitting at the table when I left the gym this day :~) i hope you enjoyed it, it's such a special place!
Damn that feeling when Kyra with her fused spine has better back flexibility than most of America wow! She was straight up killing it on that white boulder! Hannah, your dynamic moves are getting better as always. That dyno to the gaston you did on that pink climb was beastly! Great video as always, I look forward to more
This was really cool to see, for all the obvious reasons but also because Seattle has a version of this gym. It kinda grounded what you guys were doing in a grade system I’m used to and actually helped the learning process.
Hey Hannah! Watching these videos of your sessions with Pro Climbers or coaches I always wonder how many of their tips you actually manage to incorporate into your regular climbing sessions. Maybe it would be a fun idea to do a video where you react to some of your own content and comment on that?
So cool to see. I love her podcast and wasn't expecting this at all.
So stoked for this collab!! 🎉
I too shy away from comp looking boulders and am working on being more dynamic ;)
Kyra even speaks super quick 😅
Awesome and inspiring to see Kyra climb! Thanks for the video :)
