Just purchased the 77 inch B4 from Best Buy. Got an Open Box that was still wrapped for $1500. It is AMAZING!! Cant recommend enough. I watch a lot of travel videos on Youtube in 4K and the contrast and clarity is out of the world. I didnt even bother to look at the higher models. Unless you are watching this outdoors in sunlight theres no reason to spend more. Exceptional TV!
Still loving my C1. Best TV I’ve ever bought.
That TV on top of that Canvas totally reminds me of the old rear-projection sets! Remember the first time you watched Jurassic Park on your rich friend's big screen RPTV? In all of its pan and scan Hi-Fi VHS glory? I do, I do.
Man I love this channel ! You do great work my friend
So happy someone finally reviewed a b series, loving my 77 inch b2
I’m still running an LG CX and frankly the picture still amazes me. It gets plenty bright enough, contrast is amazing and colors are perfect. I admit, spending more on an update would improve things but still very impressed. I’ve never noticed any processing issues. Downsides, reflection can be distracting if watching during the day and some very dark scenes can be a little difficult to see. I’d definitely consider a Sony or another LG in the future. I stay away from Samsung personally.
We’ve got a LG OLED B7P from Costco in 2018. We’re using it with an Apple TV 4k 1st gen and we’ve super happy with that combo. Don’t need to change it unless it breaks. 😊
I have oled 65 cxpua . Owned it for 3 or more years. Really nice picture and a little slow. This will be the TV I will use in this new home theater system. This review is spot on. Thanks again, guys.
I currently own a 55" B2, and I recently bought my parents a 48" B4 for their bedroom as a Christmas gift.
The 2024 83 inch B4 uses the same processor as the C4s, the Alpha 9 AI Processor Gen7. The smaller screens use the processor you mentioned. In contrast, the processor in the G3 is the Alpha 9 Gen6 processor.
The intro song and the Canvas really caught my attention. Pretty cool!
Excellent truthful review. Great job Andrew. The breakdown of the B4 was spot on. Kudos to you for such a detailed review😊.
Nice review Andrew. That canvas speaker is interesting looking. Guess that’s the preview you were alluding to. Curious what drink you poured after you finished this weeks Live 😅
Still an OLED fan here. If LG is going to have an issue where the TV is constantly asking to program it's remote while I'm using AppleTV, then I'm skipping LG - those little bits end up being a big annoyance over very long term use. And that's on TOP of the slow processor. Our old Sammy Plasma in our living room refuses to die, but when it does - we're going with Sony again. Even if it's for a good bit of a price bump. ....Still waiting for a 90" OLED to hit the shelves. That would be our absolute sweet spot for perfect movie viewing in our little theater space.
Thanks for the review. Just picked up a C4 to replace a Sony A8H OLED. Haven’t installed it yet to compare but adding an Apple TV streamer to ANY tv nowadays is a must and to be included in your budget. It simply annihilates any built in OS of any brand, especially if you run it through an Ethernet port.
Got the b series earlier this year for $1800 after taxes on 77in or 75in. Absolutely don't regret it. Not as good as my G2, but still amazing for the price. To me the best setting was using AI to determine and it set it to a more realistic image based off my preferences. To me the
Just got the 83”, I love it. I have a C3 too and I don’t see the difference
I decided to go with the 65” C3 earlier this year since its list price equals this year’s 65” B4. If you can find it in stock, that may be the better route. If you’re planning for a LG TV purchase in 2025, you might consider timing it for the summer when you can have both options.
Thought that was a new B&O TV before I watched the video. That Canvas stand looks very nice
