Great review as always. I have the lumix 14-28 f4-5.6 and curious for your thoughts between that and this 18-40. I have an S9 and the 14-28 is a great lens but if this 18-40 is as good but smaller, then it’s a sure deal for me.

I would love a prime lens from Lumix that is the same size as the compacted form of the lens. Sigma 45 2.8 is nice, but I would like Lumix's take on it. Low breathing, color matching to the S primes.

Excellent video! This lens looks great, obviously not perfect. I don’t think any lens should be. I’ve become re-obsessed with ultra wide lenses and the zoom to 40mm isn’t a bad addition either.

Compact ultrawide lens which lots of people looking for Dont using it as regular stand zoom which usually goes 24-75 range ,it is short at tele end

The price of this is the only thing putting me off. I picked up an S9 but have no compact lenses, just the 20-60 and a 35mm Meike. Main downside of this system atm.

Lumix is killin it lately except the FZ80d that could easyly fit 1 incher and compit with rx10

Lumix needs something like a compact 40mm f2. I tried the Nikon Z 40mm f2 and it was quite nice , and small and light.

We live in a strange world right now where this lens has far better value than the Sigma 17mm f4 DG DN as an ultra-wide angle lens.
