@joe_lucid00

This is the sort of content donut should be making.

@DDRPriest

To me, this was Top Gear/Grand Tour levels of enjoyment. You learn some cool things about a culture, you get to see bad ass cars, great production quality and spectacular hosts. All in your own Donut style of course. Great work!

@bren.nan_

i think jimmy was the perfect person to go on this trip

@GeorgiaBoni

This is it. Jimmy is ideal for the role, as he is genuinely curious, respectful, and enthusiastic. Extremely watchable.

@9an13l

You guys did Brazil, and now Tokyo?.... this is the stuff....do a lot more of that please

@TravisKmeow

Second place is a mile away, this is by far the best donut video released, ever. So rare to find this perfect mix of host, location, culture, and people. Time to watch it again.

@SnakeOilGhost

This is it. And Jimmy's perfect for it, genuinely curious, respectful, and stoked. Incredibly watchable.

@hyogomarume8345

Hi, Japanese-American, lived in Tokyo, and have never seen tandem drifting in public streets. That was absolutely wild. Great job Jimmy and the crew, I really appreciate how you've crafted this video. More like this please!!

@georgealekou1720

By far, this is the best video Donut has ever produced. Was very cool to see different aspects of the culture. how they maintain community, all support each other, and being able to share a rush on the illegal side. I just wished the video was longer.

@OfficialMondSly

This was absolutely sick- and given the chance to see legit Underground drifters in their element was purely chefs kiss

@ariq94

Back in Nov last year rented a GR86, visited Daikoku, drove thru C1 and went to Fuji. The best ever! Ticked off my bucket list

@BonsaiRacing

Thanks!

@sosked78

Dude FINALLY I was waiting for another episode like this
I love the trip vids

@SkiMaskSam

This is exactly what I picture donut putting out. Vice style videos on car culture. Banger

@Pushrod67

That white Toyota Soarer at about 3 minutes in!!! When I was stationed in Japan in the Marines, my good Japanese friend Masao Hama had one! It was one of the very first cars with a touch screen panel in the center stack that controlled the HVAC and the Radio/entertainment functions, and also had a pop-up TV in the center console! If memory serves, it had a 1JZ! Such fond and great memories of my life in Japan for 2 yrs!

@nico_iannone

โ€œA lot of assumptions we make about _______ are made based on videos we see on Instagram, or the movie franchises pumped out by Hollywood. The scene is not what it once was.. but, what scene is?โ€œ this bit of truth can can be applied to literally anything. Great film, Jimmy!

@evasuit1

as a videographer in the car scene who is looking to fund my own trip to japan for such a video, im blown away that donut just had a wide angle handhelds for the opening shots

jealous as hell <3
๐Ÿ˜ญ

@cobaltlukather9045

Jimmy almost single-handedly saving Donut Media from going stale, awesome props. so much content in these trips though, this could have been at least four seperate videos with more action and in-depth conversations with everyone. great bit of snapshots into this super cool car culture

@michaelhockus8208

holy shit I got chills when he met Mizota-san, so sick, great documentary!
