@abbyphelps601

You know your in trouble when she brings out your full name.

@benjm03

Man... I need it pitch black, no noise, and a bit cold.

@mysticmama_3692

I'm the same way.....after 12 years of marriage, my husband can now not sleep without a quiet documentary playing along with our white noise. I don't have the TV on though because the light bothered him too much, so I play a documentary on my phone connected to the blue tooth speaker in my room. His favorite is forensic files, lol.

@PepsiGal16

I heard it helps people with ADHD sleep because their mind constantly has thoughts and is โ€œnoisyโ€ at night, the TV overlays that and cancels it out so they feel relaxed.

"Alexander Warren Hugh"
oh shit it's going down ๐Ÿ˜ญ

@Sai-hz6ne

Damn glad I wasnโ€™t the only one that grew up with this problem I donโ€™t know what it is but when I was young I have to sleep with the tv on with a little bit of white noise in the background

@mthd-po1sr

I can't sleep without noise either, I need my window open to hear the light traffic of cars up & down my street. I luv the city

@Esotericvaultofgems

Bird box got me laughing like crazy, lol.

@madyson6569

โ€œItโ€™s compromiseโ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚

@Heartskipsabead22

โ€œI look like iโ€™m in the movie bird box (itโ€™s on netflix)โ€ HAD ME ROLLING ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’€โœŒ๏ธ

@andrewjones5752

Hey Brother, I am the same way as her.

My ex took it upon herself to take the steps she's suggesting for you.

Pick your battles, brother.

If suffering through Family Guy, which is reasonable white noise for those like us, is worth having her in your care, then I don't need to tell you y'all keep being you.

@LuvsLaylaa

I can't either. Thanks to my dad he made me scared of silence and the dark

@aryannaness

I sleep with the tv on too๐Ÿ˜‚ I JUST NEED A NOISE AND LIGHT๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ’€

@WaterLily117

I can't sleep without like people talking in a video or something, it just makes me more relaxed rather than sitting in silence or listening to rain

@rachelhughes5276

Iโ€™m the same way I canโ€™t go to sleep when itโ€™s quiet

@MsBELLE7

My grandmother actually did this because she was traumatized as a child.....so there could be something to this. Side note; trauma doesn't have to be major it could just be one bad night that now she feels more comfortable with the tv on.
However if this is a real issue, Sony link buds the little one without the hole in the ear bit. There are also some headbands that come with headphones in them that might be more comfortable.

@nickiboo758

Omg neither can I, as soon as the TV goes off I immediately start having the most realistic, vivid, nightmares that literally wake me up screaming, crying, or shaking

@beth4893

Oh my goodness man. I totally understand the frustration. My husband and I have up sleeping together cause I cannot sleep for shit with lights and noise and without my fan on. He cannot sleep in the dark and has to have videos playing in the background (from his ptsd) and he canโ€™t stand a fan blowing on him ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ we are total opposites when it comes to sleeping. It sucks

@jennr1787

๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ I hear you girl! I'm going to be 50 ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ next month and I still sleep better with my tv on! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

@sTrideNizzY24

I'm so happy y'all are understanding of each other.
