I own Dewalt, and Milwaukee tools and have for years, I recently bought a VEVOR drywall sander " Brushless " for a project I was doing, I was very impressed with the power and the lightweight................. I would by from them again !!
Where is the Harbor Freight router? Hercules, Bauer... gotta start adding them in these type of reviews and comparisons. Great work, always check your videos when making decisions.
I love vevor and wen. The tools work and they don’t overcharge.
Matt has got really good at showing tools. Channel has evolved into something impressive Ive watched him for about three years now.
I'm new to woodworking (but mostly on the carpentry/DIY homeowner side for now) and have watched many of your videos - they are SO helpful! FYI, this kit is now on sale at Amazon for $52! And they have a kit that includes a tilt base for $72. And the Skil 14amp router kit (plunge + fixed) is on sale too for $118.
6:26 'Knob on the side' ''...lets you lock it in when you tighten it.'' NOTE; The tip of that knob actually pushes in as well, this disengages the mating threads allowing the rod to freely slide up or down. I found this just by chance on mine, a good feature, I think.
Great in depth video showing all the features on this inexpensive router kit, good detailed information, thank you!
A beginner here, and on a budget! I bought a Vevor pocket hole jig with acessories and was very surprised at the build quality of it. It worked just fine and while it is no Kreg tool it was perfectly good for my level. I have just bought the Vevor router demo'd on this video above, so I am curious to see how it performs. Great video and I enjoy your work.
Amazon in the UK stock tools from Katsu, these are essentially Makìta copies, but are very good quality, along with the router they sell a bench to pillar drill that's not bad for £75
Thanks for all your video, reviews, tips and tricks that are affordable for a newcomer in woodworking. Always tought that was to costly to start woodworking and when i found your channel i was finaly able to go foward and make it possible. You made a dream come true for myself keep your good work and cant wait your next video :)
Thanks for sharing. An excellent demonstration of the versatility of these little trim routers. Never actually seen this make - I'm in the UK - but I do own the Makita and the Makita 'knock off' Katzu. I did purchase the Katzu pre-pandemic, so only paid around £30. It came with only the fixed base, but at that price, well, can't really grumble. Besides, the Makita came with every base known to man, and they all fit the Katzu. It is a strange world we life in, where tools are getting cheaper by the day, while the price of material is taking off like an F-16.
I don't need another router, but that was a good review. The Den of Tools recommends to always buy Vevor from Amazon rather than from Vevor. Apparently Vevor customer dis-service fights returns if there's something wrong with it. Amazon will accept the return with no issues.
Nice video. I have the Makita corded, and they do have a kit that includes the plunge base, fixed and offset bases…very nice lil tool
Nice video! I've had this router in my Amazon tool list for over a year. I'm pretty much a beginner and almost bought this as my first router. I ended up getting the Skil combo on sale for 99 bucks instead and a WEN combo one and the Ryobi trim one because I accumulate tools. After seeing this review I might grab this one too. I guess I'm in the 1% that knew about it but watched anyway because I was curious! Appreciate the review!
Cool video my first router was a my Grandpa black and decker. And I have bought a Craftsman router with table when Sears still had there store
I have that router, though I havent used it yet. I bought it and a small router lift to go in my work bench when I get around to building it. I know its underpowered but I dont plan on doing anything heavy duty with it. Thanks for the review!
I like those for setting them up with and leaving bits in them dedicated....
Thank you for the review Matt. It like a good low priced option. I guess my question would be how long will it last? And what if you need service? Otherwise it seems great. Thanks again! 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Vevor seems to be making some good quality tools. I bought a set of their aluminum set up blocks and they don't just look good, they are dead accurate. Used my calipers and they are just as accurate as other more expensive sets I have bought. Great review. For this price, you can just get a scrap piece of acrylic and make a larger base.
