Oh my God that is so good. I remember eating it as a child but making it is really hard because a lot of traditional Asians don’t use westernized kitchen where to make food we always do it the old-fashioned way, and my mother would usually buy it in the supermarket that comes in a little pouch is in a box or a bulk sized bags. One time I got a jumbo size bag with multiple packets and it was mainland China brand like sesame pudding, and there wasn’t that much black sesame in there, but it was a lot of glutinous rice in there, and it was very very hard to stir. Not to mention the fact that I bought a sugar-free brand it was just absolutely not worth it because my mother usually gets a Taiwanese brand and that one is pretty good because there’s more black sesame and less glutinous rice so you get more of the black sesame flavor that one is very easy to start when you put the powder into the bowl and you pour the appropriate amount of water to stir the powder until it turns in the pudding and you have to stir the powder until it completely dissolves.
