@gpd5555

I have a 22 Ultimate with a little over 60 000km. Mechanical faults so far: bad fuel injector (2 months at the dealer waiting for part but was covered with a rental), AC compressor fail (3 months of summer with no AC while waiting for part). Getting 9L/100km highway/city combined. A quiet, comfortable highway crusier. Hyundai self driving suite is excellent. Tows well enough, two snowmobiles in an enclosed or 2 atvs on a flat trailer. Larger trailers are a pain to see around even with a camera. Have hauled 8 tires full size tires on rims in the back and even a new sofa. Winter sand/salt keeps peeling the chrome off the front plastic. Hyundai has replaced twice to their credit. Turbo lag is there if u try to drive it like a V8 but ease the peddle down and she'll accelerate as good or better than the 5.7 Tundra I traded for it. The worse thing about it, it's not a truck. The best thing about it, it's not a truck. A truck version of the current palisade would be nice.

Great video Steve

@danbelden7354

This looks like a Tucson that they chopped off the roof and threw a bed in its place. The Ridgeline and Maverick have their own unique style.

@dannykrauskopf7404

Excellent review as always!!! ๐Ÿ˜

@markstacy9708

I heard "Good enough " several times.

@fernandosuarez5815

I love mine great gas mileage
But your right the cover takes 10 inches
A roll up cover would be better
All in all itโ€™s a great little truck
The ford looks ancient
The Cruz is more sporty looking
Very smooth lines not a box

@robbilton9006

Now the Santa Cruz has hill assist so its not supposed to roll back, but i have a Kia Niro PHEV also with hill start and ive found that under normal use the option doesn't engage unless I make a concerted effort to push down on the pedal. My older Sorento never had that issue.

@rondail5675

To the Ford guys, the "Maverick is NOT a Truck". Only kidding, as a Ridgeline owner, I use to be tired of hearing it about the Ridgeline.

@RobertWill-uq3iv

I suppose if it gives you some semblance of utility, that's a good thing. But, my sense is, you buy this for its cutting edge styling.

@daveyyz63

I have 2022 turbo. Works great no issues and pull my trailer that has a gvwr of 4000. I likely get that gas mileage and half when towing. Like the changes

@tito4131

Going for the 2025 Maverick Hybrid AWD 4k towing with Lux package

@roncaron-l1r

Hi there good video love it (Ty Ron

@chico1014

You said that it feels to expensive but You can also get a loaded Maverick up to $53,000.00 and it really seems like this hyundai loaded is a better deal.Also this week the Maverick had 5 different recalls and I know people will say all sort of bad things about Hyundai engines but you really do get a lot of people on line that pass on a lot of false info not just about Hyundai but every brand.

@rondail5675

Thanks Steve.

@badwabbit1973

upgrades and updates isn't the problem try quality and price!!

@josephharvey5742

They need to get rid of the dual clutch transmission.

@Vortekz55

I'm planning a trip thru the (Yukon and NWT) territories up the Dempster Highway to Tuktoyutuk in August, looking into XRT model or the Frontier Pro4x. How would this be on a long road trip vs the Frontier?

@27Zangle

I like the Santa Cruz but would likely get the Maverick hybrid with AWD since my wife thinks the Santa Cruz looks stupid leaving the Maverick. Also the dual clutch is a big no thank you.

@lawrenceotwell6906

They don't look discernably different if you don't do a direct side by side and know what you're looking for.

@jagar788

I don't like all of the black plastic around the wheel wells which I expect will eventually fade. Also the vehicle is built in the US. The Maverick being built in Mexico would be my choice.
