With the R1 coming out with 24 mpix (and with the R6/8/7/10/50 etc as well, at around the same pixel count), I'll think that a lot of photographers will be interested in some really good ai upscaling, which (I guess....;- ) ai CAN do very well, if the ai has all the time it needs to get it right (< I think it was Jared Polin who demonstrated the R5.2's in-camera (jpg) upscaling to be basically worthless, with odd patterns happening in some leaves...).
