As a 29 year old, I can attest to literally calling or texting my mom on the daily my senior year of college as if she was my bff. When you are young/HS age you don’t get it but when you get older, your mom is everything

Even though I am French woman, born and bred, and Leanne's accent is quite difficult to grasp for us Foreigners, I can somehow relate to her antics. I am a little bit older than her, and retired. My favorites are the thermostat situation with her husband and the panties story, being comfortable is more important than being sexy when you reach a certain age. We have great stand-up comedians here but they are younger. They talk about their period, being pregnant, having kids, raising kids, first kindergarten, divorcing, having a first date after a divorce, dealing with grown-up kids heartbreaks, and divorce. But after all this is behind, there is still a life to live: don't forget to take your medicine, dealing with your childhood friend's death or another friend mother's death while struggling with What'sApp because she calls from Hong Kong and you forgot the time difference. What we don't really have is a Leanne to make fun of all this and Laugh Out Loud. What a Boomer I am.

My daughter was somewhat okay as a teen. She could hardly wait to leave for college. I was exhausted by her. She lasted 3 days before she missed us and called crying. She’s in her forties now and has pretty much stopped crying. Just wait until her daughter leaves.
